What is the LJS Connection Bureau(LJSCB)?
The LJSCB, based in Chicago, IL., is subsidiary of
The
Louie Jones Show. This is not a traditional speakers bureau. My purpose
is to connect those who wish to secure the services of bureau members,
in addition to serving as a source of networking among the bureau
membership. The LJSCB does not represent any of the bureau members. Any
negotiations are to be handled directly with the contacts listed in the
member's profile.
How do I become part
of LJSCB's roster?
Send an email to
info@louiejones.com with a brief overview of your topic and
experience. If possible, a video or audio link of at least 5
minutes of a recent presentation.
Is there a cost to join LJSCB?
No.
How can I book a speaker/entertainer?
All bookings are handled directly between the booking agency and the
talent.
Do I have to arrange travel and lodging for the speaker?
Travel and lodging arrangements are typically taken care of by the
contracting entity. The bureau members will normally provide a
rider, which will contain specific requirements.
In these days and times, networking is not optional, it's mandatory.
One of the things that I do encourage is for bureau members to connect,
with and recommend, each other as their needs dictate.
